Lovely Mexican joint on our road trip. I went with the old staple of potato egg and cheese burrito and she went for the chilaquiles. Both were lovely. Table salsa was bold and tasty.
Great Mexican food and also great service. It's hard to come across a place that can have both these days. The building it self is old but don't judge a book for it's cover. Should be considered a Merced landmark.

My husband and I often dine in for breakfast. We especially love the costillas and eggs along with fresh homemade flour tortillas. Coffee is always good too. Service is great, staff very attentive. They were especially exceptional today as I had left my purse by accident. I contacted the restaurant and they were quick to respond even though they were closed. I was able to retrieve my purse. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this place.
My favorite place to have breakfast in town! It’s like walking into your grandmothers home and she has made a complete menu of food for you! Even their tortillas are homemade! They also have the best iced tea!
The hosting, waitresses and cooks all do an amazing job. Very family & friends oriented. The food is so authentic just like Mom's cooking. The restaurant is very nice & clean.
Soup weather is right around the corner. Try their menudo. Absolutely amazing!! One of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Can't go wrong with their fish tacos either.
Wonderful spot for quick and reasonably priced Mexican food. Really friendly. Great environment to eat in but food is also quickly available for takeout. Lots of regulars. Private back room and deck. Delicious!
